How do I order a custom pet portrait?

1. Select a canvas size.

A custom pet portrait painting includes a close up of your animal with a neutral background. I paint around a 1 1/2 inch deep wrapped canvas, so that no frame is necessary. If you would like to frame the painting, please specify that you would like a “1/2 inch deep, frame-able canvas” when placing your order.

2. Choose a background color.

I typically paint neutral backgrounds using gray with a tint of blue, green, or brown. It’s best to choose a color that will work well (in or with) your or your loved one’s space. Feel free to explore the gallery for examples or request a custom color. If you want me to choose, let me know if there are any colors I should avoid.

3. Email your pet photos.

Please email me multiple clear photos of your animal. We will select the favorite photo together and I will get started!

4. Send your down payment.

Send in your 50% payment over venmo, cash or check. You can find me at Lauren Church Portraits! The remaining balance is due at completion. I will send you a screenshot of shipping total along with your package tracking number.

What is a normal time frame?

Portraits typically take anywhere from 3-6 weeks to complete depending on order amount and season of the year. Expect longer wait times during the holidays. I do my best to accommodate your time frame so please ask if you have a specific date in mind! If I can not complete your order due to the high volume of orders during the holidays, consider purchasing a Gift Certificate.
